I don't want to get rid of this but i'm moving and i have to. This is a beautiful bike, extremely rare, excellent shape for a 1969. Never rebuilt yet is in excellent shape!
I've put many miles on it, i can say that it rides straight as an arrow, the sturmey archer 3-speed shifts perfectly, all chrome is good, nice mattress seat, bell works. Can carry a lot of weight on the back frame, you can even have a passenger, although sitting on the back is a little scary i must say.. unless you reallllly trust your friend to drive you around. Seat and handlebars are adjustable enough to comfortably fit almost everyone. I'm a short guy at 5'4" but i like to keep the seat as high up as it'll go, its an interesting sight for onlookers, and since there is no top bar its easy to hop on and off.
The bad: the paint has some chips, some decals are starting to peel, the brakes are ok but i recommend newer style calipers front and back before any serious riding, it would also be a good idea to repack the stem and the crank bearings so you can keep this folder upper reliable for many more years to come.
Ride and enjoy it all you want but please take good care of her!
